New Year’s Eve is a day for revelry and resolutions. Like most families, ours has had its share of
joy and hardships in 2013. I am so
amazingly blessed to have spent another year with people that I love and
cherish. And I am very proud of what I
have been able to achieve with my business, Valerie Hawkins Photography. I have created new branding and a new website
this year. I have spent countless hours
developing a better business model after receiving professional financial planning. I have delved more extensively into wedding
and event photography. I have invested heavily
in better equipment, software, education and marketing. But my proudest accomplishment is that I have
solidified my photographic style. While
I will always explore new creative methods, I have really found my “look” this
year.
My husband, Jon and my three daughters have so graciously
and patiently supported my dream. They happily submit to modelling for me and understand that I often need to leave
in pursuit of Golden Light. The phrase
“What did you say? I was editing” doesn’t even annoy them. They get
that this is my dream job, and my hubby, well, he tells me to dream
bigger. It is with his support that I
have accomplished so many photography goals in 2013, and why I can set bigger
goals in 2014.
My goal in 2014 is to deliver better imagery with a boutique
experience. I will continue to invest in
education and hardware to offer you a wider range of services. I have expanded my product line to include
several art print pieces. Your session will include a product consultation with new samples and a design
consultation. I want to see your images
displayed in your home like art, and I can’t wait to show you my ideas. I am implementing a Client Referral Rewards
Program. I am also launching a new
Senior Representative program, and I’m developing a photo video concept to
include with my Wedding Collections.

I would love to see how your family has grown, and I would be so delighted to
show you how my business has grown.
