Gina & Wes | Dayton Wedding Photographer | Holiday Inn, Beavercreek

Gina and Wes planned an intimate wedding with 60 of their closest friends and family.  I particularly love small weddings because the atmosphere is very relaxed and cozy.  The bride and groom can chat with each of their guests at length and it's very personal.  In fact, Gina and Wes invited their friend and tattoo artist to perform the marriage ceremony.  I'm always happy to hear that the officiant knows the couple personally.

We ran into a small hiccup at the beginning of the day when hair/makeup took a bit longer than expected, but Gina looked amazing and I quickly made up for lost time.  Gina was composed and calm; the very picture of a collected bride.  When I first met Gina months ago, she seemed a bit reserved in nature.  So when she walked in with shining, dark curls, alabaster skin and ruby lips my jaw dropped.  Stunning!

Wes is tall.  Very tall.  He towers over Gina.  And suddenly those fabulous 4" heels Gina was wearing made perfect sense.

Gina's mother walked her down the aisle.

I spoke with Gina's grandmother in the bridal suite.  She's the sweetest lady and she told about her experience in the Xenia Tornado of '74.
